ShorTO Film Market is the industry event dedicated to the short film ecosystem, organized by the Italian Short Film Center from 2016.
ShorTO Film Market will take place for the ninth time at the end of November in Turin, Italy, as part of Torino Film Industry.

Born as Torino Short Film Market, then named Talents and Short Film Market and now ShorTO Film Market, the 2024 edition is a transitional one, that consolidates some of the collaborations already started over the years and launches new initiatives integrated with the areas of the Italian Short Film Center. This year’s approaches concern a renewed focus on Italian operators, the promotion of foreign mobility opportunities abroad and the implementation of activities over a longer period.

The Market aims to stimulate the growth of the international short film industry, with a particular focus on the Italian sector, and to encourage the growth of new authors and film professionals on the international scene, renewing the impact of short films on their production and promotion.

In order to achieve its goals, ShorTO Film Market develops several activities.
Pitching sessions for short film projects are one of the main focuses of the market. Industry panels focusing on a variety of subjecsts, mobility programmes and professional workshops are developed in close collaboration with national and international partners and are other key assets of the market. Special screenings, the video library and networking events are further opportunities offered to the audience of film professionals accredited to the event.
