International co-production pitch for upcoming short films. Selected participants will have five minutes to pitch their project to an audience of film professionals. Short film projects that have been previously presented at other pitching forums: SFC | Rendez-vous Industry – Cannes Court Métrage (France), Baltic Pitching Forum (Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia), ShorTS International Film Festival (Italy), Sentiero Film Lab (Italy), Short Film Forum (Kosovo).

Pitching Session Road to Euro Connection/Italy 

Pitch session for short film projects in development that already have an established author/producer team and are looking for co-productions. The teams have been selected from the Italian projects that have applied to the European co-production pitching forum Euro Connection. The same selected teams will take part in the programme Talent Connexion in Clermont-Ferrand during the International Short Film Market in February 2026.

This presentation will explore practical aspects of collaboration, highlighting co-production opportunities with Lithuania, as well as platforms where you can meet Lithuanian talents. In addition, Lithuanian producers who are actively seeking co-producers will introduce themselves at the event — they might just be the perfect partners for future projects.

Lithuania in Focus: Cinematic Connections

In recent years, Lithuanian cinema has gained remarkable international visibility, showcasing bold storytelling and distinctive artistic voices. To mark Lithuania’s spotlight at this year’s ShorTO Film Market, the Lithuanian Short Film Agency presents a selection of recent short films that capture the essence of the country’s contemporary cinema. These five works explore diverse forms of connection — with the body, the system, family, and the city of Vilnius itself. Together, they reveal a vibrant portrait of Lithuania today, where personal and collective stories meet in a shared cinematic language of emotion and reflection. 

Pitching Session Think Outside the Keyframe

Think Outside the Keyframe is the new original call launched by ShorTO Film Market, once again focusing on animation projects. It is dedicated exclusively to two categories of applicants: directors or creative teams composed of a producer and a director, from any country in the world, seeking support for the development or production of an animation project at any stage of development.

Pitching Session Sonego Award

For the 2025 edition of ShorTO Film Market, the Italian Short Film Center is pleased to once again host a pitching session entirely dedicated to the comedy screenplays of the Rodolfo Sonego Award, a project by Lago Film Fest. Thanks to this collaboration, all 6 finalists of the award will present their projects at ShorTO Film Market, with 5-minute pitches each.

The pitching session will be followed by the Closing Ceremony of Rodolfo Sonego Award.

Panel Where is the Entrance?

A meeting for students, young authors and cultural operators, with the aim of illustrating some of the short film training opportunities that take place in Italy.

The panel will present two Italian cultural initiatives with free or accessible participation costs, which promote short films as a training tool for young professionals and contribute to the well-being of the community and the territories where they are made.

Panel Italian Short Film Atlas

The Italian Short Film Centre and Concorto Film Festival, with the scientific advice of the University of Bologna (Department of the Arts), present “Italian Short Film Atlas – Culture and industry of the short film in Italy”, a two-year project (2025–2026) which aims to map the current ecosystem of Italian short films and offer an analysis tool to support cultural policies for short cinema in Italy.
