Following the success of its first edition, Road to Euro Connection/Italy returns. The project, created and organized by the Italian Short Film Center, offers training, mobility, and international networking to Italian teams of authors and producers with a short film project in development.
The programme guides a shortlist of projects, selected from the Euro Connection call, through an international professional journey involving two key market events. The journey began at the ShorTO Film Market (November 23-25, 2025), where teams participated in an online pitching training, a pitch session in front of a professional audience, and numerous one-to-one meetings.
From February 2 to 5, 2026, Road to Euro Connection/Italy moves on to the Marché du Film Court, held during the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the world’s leading event for short films. Here, the delegation will take part in the Talent Connexion programme, a section providing visibility, workshops, and networking opportunities with industry professionals from around the globe. The highlight of this stage will be the teams’ participation in the Agorà pitching session at the Marché du Film, scheduled for Wednesday, February 4 at 11:00 AM.
Follow the Road to Euro Connection/Italy journey on the social media channels of the Italian Short Film Center and ShorTO Film Market, and get ready to submit your short film project in development for Euro Connection 2027 next September!
